Wall - E

We saw this movie thinking that it is movie about a robot which helps humans to return back to Earth. It is actually that movie only , but with a big twist --- ROMANCE . This movie is one of the most cute adorable romantic comedy i have seen. When " Wall E " the lead character says "Eva" , you adore him as you have never had done anybody else.

I wont spoil the movie for you .. please go and see the movie with your beloved.


From the Pixar stable , this is another very fine movie with excellent graphics and story line . Great movie... i must say... i will give this movie a 9 out of 10 stars.. CHeers... "Wall - EEEEEEEE " and " Evaaa ".

ROCK ON !

Whole movie has got a sad touch to it still it Rocks. The end was pretty much expected still gave me a high. Storyline was also pretty much ordinary.. but still impressed me a lot..... All because of the way it was told. I guess the way in which Abhishek or Farhan mixed the light and the sad portion of the movie was really balanced.

Movie has a soothing feeling to it. On the lines of DCH ( Dil Chahta Hai) it went on to show the chemistry between the friends and their reunion. Rock Music being the blending factor this time.

Movie is also about finding time for what you really like doing and always to be in touch with your passion.

.. GO and Have a nice watch.. i wont spoil the whole movie for you.

Lage Raho MunnaBhai

There are films in which complications politics and other evils are shown to the extent that you loose faith and come out of the movie theater confused and depressed agitated। And there is this movie Lage Raho Munnabhai। All things seems so clear, you know deep down inside that this might be the scene , film looks so real . You hope .
Honestly , after listening to some controversy about Gandhiji I was having my doubts . But now i know that without understanding their teachings and saying it is utter foolishness on your part to criticise someone.
I am in no place to comment about the Gandhiji's ideology but one thing is clear that , the way this movie covers it is really really appreciable.

THE BANK JOB

Amazing amazing movie. A real story of a great robbery. I still wonder why seeing the movie having real stories is much much unexpected than an imaginary story or a work of fiction. One thing i like the most about the movie is that it goes on with a very good pace and leave no moment during the movie in which you get bored. Although there are many scences having adult material in the movie but none crosses the limit where it is not necessary.

Lakshya

Yesterday, I watched Lakshya. This is the kind of movie , which makes sense, u tend to think about the subject , emotions, no nonsense artificial emotions, but emotions that relate to the current world. Movie is amazing, after seeing Jodhaa Akbar and Lakshya, I feel that Hrithik is a really good actor, and there is no doubt about that.

I was also impressed that young film makers like Farah Akhtar and Ashutosh Gowarikar are making good no nonsense films.

I would give this movie Lakhshya a * * * * * * 7 Stars.

One thing I didn't like about the movie is again the pace of the movie. Kind of get a bit dull in the middle, and at the end.

Pace is the one thing that keeps a viewer engaged with the movie for the whole time period. One thing that is missing in Indian films is the pace. This might be due to the longer duration of the film. There are nice songs in the movie with excellent music, but again one thing that I don't like is songs that suddenly pops up out of nowhere. Just inserted in the film for the sake of inserting, not linked with movie storyline at all.

 

Italian Job

****** 6 stars our of 10

Italian Job as compared to Ocean series is a bit more entertaining although less thought is put into the film, but has more action. Many of my friends liked to my surprise liked the Italian Job much more than Ocean series. Italian Job is easy to understand movie with right balance of action , glamour, and style. But me an Ocean's Series fan would give a slight notch less marks to Italian Job as compared to Ocean 11.

Also I am starting to think of rating movies, as I give out the rating , I think it might become in future an interesting blog.

Let me start the job with rating ITALIAN JOB itself.

I would give it a rating of ****** 6 stars our of 10.

Italian Job is about a gang of thieves who take revenge with a team member after he ditches them just for money. Although Story seems a bit common , the job they perform is quite interesting with the dialogues and I would not lie , I had watched the movie specially to see Charlize Theron. She looked amazing.

Jodhaa Akbar

I was waiting for the movie to release anxiously, when released I was a bit disappointed by reading the reviews. However I got the chance to see the movie. The movie I personally feel is not as bad as review suggest. It is different kind of movie. You cannot expect every movie to be full of emotions drama and action. By the way Ashutosh has done pretty good job in putting some drama in the picture. One thing that disappointed me the most is the pace of the movie. Not that movie is "slow paced", but the movie is not evenly paced.

Further what I like in the movie is definitely the chemistry between the two main leads. Further which was interesting to watch was how Ashutosh handled the issue of Hindu and Muslim tradition and their interaction.

I would have like to see more History to be intermingled with the story. Also what was Akbar's line of thinking on various occasions? What are the factors which he considers when making decisions. If you watch movie closely you would feel like he had made decisions with lot of thinking but you will fail to understand those factors which he thinks about.

It was a good movie at the end , but yes failed to make the edge everybody was expecting and not as bad as everybody ( reviewers) says it is.

Taare Zameen Par

One of the finest movie of Bollywood in recent times. I am not going into details as everybody must have read about it or seen it. Just here like to mention the scene that i liked the most.

The whole idea of showing a drawing competition is excellent. Loved the whole scene , specially the one where young Ishant sees that his teacher ( Amir Khan ) has made his portrait. The emotion that burst out of the young lad is amazing. I still don't understand howcome a young artist could perform like this.

One more thing which came out is that, the movie was a hit. Generally this kind of movie does not do very well on Indian screens. But Amir Khan proved that Indian Audience have come to an age where they can appreciate a really good movie.

I feel this might be a turnaround like the one in Indian Cricket Team.

Jodhaa Akbar

Jodha Akbar or Jodhaa Akbar , a film by ashutosh gowariker stars Aishwarya Bachhan and Hrithik Roshan is one of the much awaited film of 2008. Movie promises to be one of its kind. Sources close to the film says that Hrithik Roshan has given his best performance of his life, same for Aishwariya Bacchan.

Ashutosh has directed hit films like Lagaan and Swadesh and both the films were not like the traditional Bollywood films. He is the director of young generation.

Jodhaa Akbar also raised several eyebrows before its release stating Jodhaa to be wife of Akbar. There are several historians denying the fact. But nobody knows the real name or correct history.

I personally feel everybody should have his freedom to present his thoughts , in the way it is not offensive . If the History itself is not conclusive how could someone says or objects one who wants to put his thinking forward.

A R Rehman has given music to the film. Already the songs of the film are doing great in the market and promises to blend with the film like it did for Rang De Basanti.

Jodhaa Akbar promises to be a good entertaining film unlike other Bollywood flicks, promises to present another beautiful image of Aishwarya and mastery of A R Rehman with intense acting of Hrithik.

I also heard that fight scenes of Jodhaa Akbar are one of its kind in indian cinema and likely to acclaim a lot of praise.. lets see how the film fairs.
